Arm - Wrist - Hand Pain

Overview

A thorough examination and diagnostic tests can determine the source of your arm/wrist/hand pain. Often the source is in your upper spine or neck. A herniated/ruptured disc could be the culprit, putting pressure on nerves and sending pain signals to the arm or hand. Stenosis (narrowing) of the spinal column in the neck or upper back may be responsible, as can a hairline fracture in the neck. A rotator cuff injury, tendonitis and bursitis may also cause pain in the upper extremities.

How Our Providers Diagnose

In addition to a physical examination and thorough discussion of your pain, our providers will develop a plan of care to address your specific needs and form a personalized treatment plan.

Treatment Options

  • Shoulder injections
  • Cervical epidural steroid injection (CESI)
  • Facet joint injections

The environment was relaxed, pleasant, and professional...

Been going to Spine and Joint for the last few years and my experiences have been positive. Recently had a procedure done and the environment was relaxed, pleasant, and professional. This helps ease some of the stress and edginess that comes with most medical procedures. Thank you S&J.
