Farewell Dr. Bourgeois

Dr. Jonathan W. Bourgeois will be moving back to his home State of Oregon mid-June, after 22 years of adventure on the East Coast and Texas! He wishes his patients good health, a pain-free future, and many thanks for the opportunity and privilege of being their pain doctor for the past 4 years. We will miss him and wish his family well!

Our medical practice will continue to operate as usual and our talented team of providers will continue to provide exemplary care. Dr. B’s patient’s medications, appointments, and interventional procedures will continue at SJPS as he transitions from our Practice in June.

Dr. Tisdall & our team are excited to welcome Cesar Velarde, MD!  With Big Shoes to fill, Dr. Velarde’s has extensive experience and background in Interventional Pain Management.  He is Board-Certified in Anesthesiology and has a Fellowship in Pain Medicine. He was an assistant professor and member of the Pain Clinic at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Velarde has been serving patients and providing interventional pain care in private practice in Las Cruces, New Mexico since early 2000 and is fluent in Spanish! Dr. Velarde & his family are looking forward to making Texas their home. In his spare time, he enjoys keeping up with his teenagers, as well as playing and following soccer worldwide. He will join our practice in mid-June.
