Dear WellMed HMO Patients,
WellMed has shared they will no longer authorize any visits or procedures with Spine & Joint Pain Specialists as of March 5th, 2023 for all patients that are part of a WellMed HMO.

This means that we will not be able to treat you as we are out of network with WellMed.
Our application to be a in-network provider has been denied multiple times since 2020. WellMed states they have many Pain Management providers already in network.
Please contact WellMed to discuss converting your current insurance plan to a PPO or another insurance plan so we can continue to care for you.
You can request a list of in-network providers accepting new patients from WellMed. We will be happy to send your medical records as soon as another provider has been identified
