Dr. Scott Worrich Joins SJPS as Board-Certified Pain Management Specialist

SJPS is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Scott Worrich, a board-certified anesthesiologist with subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine, to its team of expert providers. A highly trained physician with deep clinical expertise and a patient-first philosophy, Dr. Worrich brings a comprehensive and compassionate approach to pain management.

A San Antonio native, Dr. Worrich earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He went on to complete his residency in Anesthesiology at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, where he trained alongside Dr. William Alec Tisdall, founder of SJPS. The two developed a strong professional connection rooted in their shared commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care.

Dr. Worrich specializes in treating complex pain conditions, neuropathic pain syndromes, and in leading-edge neuromodulation therapies, including spinal cord stimulation. His treatment philosophy emphasizes a comprehensive, multimodal approach designed to improve function and enhance quality of life for each patient.

Dr. Worrich is a graduate of Texas A&M University and an active member of several professional associations, including the Texas Medical Association, Bexar County Medical Society, American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the Texas Pain Society.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Worrich enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, traveling, and cheering on his boys at their sporting events.
